- busy week. josh was in town. went out with a million people to some new club on friday night, that was pretty fun. saw mike again. picked up more hours. hung out with dave and joe, discussed a possible film project, which sounds like fun and a lot of work (waffling).

- got the hackintosh mostly running with da5id's invaluable assistance. still reauthorizing software and such. but things are mostly working. in fact, i used it as an excuse to fix a few things and get rid of some plug-ins i never use anymore. better to just have a few really good ones i suppose.

- made good progress mastering the new autio double album. already finished the mastering on the ambient disc, so that will move to the next stage of assembly (track order, crossfades, etc). the hard work is still to come though...i think that the second disc will be harder to do. in related news, we are tentatively talking about doing a performance in april, which would be cool. essentially disassembling the piano and turning it into a performance. i think it can be done, but requires a little more effort than we're really putting in at the moment. so we need to spend a bit more time researching how to make it worthwhile, etc.

- in a bit of a musical dead zone. all this extraneous stuff happening, and no inspiration. but, this could be the week it turns around. lots of plans and other things taking up my time, which is kind of a pain in the ass.
