- making great headway on a number of projects. the remix is getting close to finished, though i'm having some issues with stereo balance, and i'm not sure why. something seems to be running harder in the left channel, which is strange because i can't seem to isolate a cause. well, in any case, i'm sure i'll figure it out. 

- my tape archive project is humming along. it's kind of horribly embarrassing to hear all that material from high school. it's ninety nine percent rubbish, but there are a few cool moments here and there. i figure i'll just bring it all in, then i can edit at my leisure, burn some archival dvds and then dump the cassettes in the trash. those things are even more useless than cd's at this point.

- c_xx_e seems to be picking up steam, and there are a bunch of exciting things happening on that front, but its not something i can talk about publicly, unfortunately. veil of secrecy and such. but i have a handmade project coming up that's in the planning and research stages and promises to be pretty killer. sssh!

- have a lot of valley of wolves and autio stuff to get busy with next week, sending out promos and doing the pr shit that i absolutely hate. eventually i will get back to that one horse town album that i haven't worked on in many weeks.

- heading to sebastopol this weekend for more rural exploration and field recordings. hopefully i'll get some cool sounds for this next field recordings disc and some cool photos to go with it.
